RageBot – Privacy Policy
Last updated: Today (probably)
At RageBot, we take privacy seriously…ish. Or at least we try. By using any RageBot bot, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. What Data We Collect
- User IDs – to know who you are (barely)
- Usernames / nicknames – for display purposes
- Messages – to trigger pointless bot responses
No other data is intentionally collected. Any “extra” data collected is either accidental or part of the chaos.
2. How We Use Data
- Making the bots operate (sometimes)
- Triggering responses (often useless)
- Providing frustration and amusement
We do not sell, share, or use your data for ads… mostly because we don’t have the energy.
3. Data Retention
Data may be stored temporarily to make the bot function. Sometimes it is deleted automatically. Sometimes it isn’t. RageBot makes no promises about how long data lasts.
Think of it as ephemeral… like your hopes for productivity on Discord.
4. Third-Party Services
If RageBot uses external services (like hosting platforms or APIs), we rely on their privacy policies. We are not responsible for what they do with your data. If you are worried, consider not using RageBot.
5. Your Responsibilities
By using RageBot bots, you agree that you understand the bots are mostly useless, will not expect proper data handling, and will not blame RageBot for server chaos or lost messages.
6. Security
We try to be somewhat careful with data, but RageBot bots are intentionally chaotic. There are no guarantees of safety. If a bot breaks your server, that’s just part of the experience.
7. Children
RageBot is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you probably shouldn’t be using Discord anyway.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. By continuing to use RageBot bots, you accept the updated Privacy Policy — whether you read it or not.
TL;DR
- RageBot bots collect minimal data
- Data is used for chaos and nonsense
- We don’t sell your data
- Expect nothing, get something useless
